I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy for adults and couples. I completed my PhD at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and my predoctoral internship in Adult Psychopathology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. I remained at Brown to complete my clinical postdoctoral fellowship in Trauma Recovery.

I am deeply committed to serving adults, couples, LGBTQIA2S+ identifying individuals seeking affirming and inclusive care, and college students addressing the unique mental health challenges associated with their academic and personal journeys. My practice is grounded in a commitment to understanding and addressing the specific needs of each individual and relationship, and fostering a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment for all.

I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and Third-Wave approaches to treatment, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as mindfulness-based approaches to treatment. I have expertise working with couples on a wide range of relationship concerns and those seeking to enhance relationship health. I also have expertise in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety, trauma/stressor related disorders, and insomnia. Specialized treatment approaches include Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Couple Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, ACT for PTSD, and CBT for Insomnia.

I strive to provide a safe and comfortable therapy space where you can openly share your challenges and personal growth goals. I work collaboratively with you to identify goals for treatment and develop a customized treatment plan that addresses these goals and your presenting concerns in a manner that is most comfortable and effective for you. This collaborative approach ensures that our therapy is tailored to your unique needs and preferences.

I believe therapy is a valuable investment in oneself and one’s relationships. I am so grateful that you are considering working with me and am happy to answer any questions you may have.
