I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals on their journey toward mental wellness. With extensive training in evidence-based therapies, I specialize in helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs while fostering resilience and self-understanding.
I believe that my clients hold the deepest understanding of their own lives and identities, and my role is to guide you in uncovering your inherent strengths and ability to push past the challenges life throws at you. It’s an incredible privilege to join you on this path and support you in reaching your aspirations. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful growth.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based approaches, as well as other evidence-based approaches, rooted in scientific research.
About Me
I completed my undergraduate education at University of Alabama at Birmingham and doctorate at Drexel University. I served as a doctoral intern at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center where my training focused on cognitive behavioral therapies and specialized training in trauma. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long walks with my beloved boxer, and swimming with him in the summers when it's too hot.
