Ruth Robbins, PhD

Psychologist, she/her/hers

Licensed Clinical Psychologist: California 31618, North Carolina 6523, authorized to provide teletherapy in 40 states and District of Columbia through PSYPACT

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience who believes a strong therapeutic relationship can not only be transformative, but life changing. With a warm and supportive approach, I will work to provide a safe space for honest and genuine exploration of yourself and the barriers to emotional well-being. In our work together, I will utilize my expertise to help you identify unhelpful thought and behavioral patterns keeping you stuck and together we will work to modify these.

I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and mindfulness-based approaches with a specialization in cognition and mind-body connection. I work with individuals and couples in the treatment of anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, stress management, and other mental health concerns. I view my role as helping clients deepen their understanding of themselves and others in order to move towards a life that feels more authentic and valuable to them.

I recognize that sometimes getting started can be the most challenging and daunting aspect of change. I look forward to standing by you and empowering you while you take your first steps in this journey.
